{"id":2145,"date":"2013-06-20T16:00:03","date_gmt":"2013-06-20T16:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.aidslaw.ca\/newsite\/?page_id=2145"},"modified":"2022-11-04T20:35:15","modified_gmt":"2022-11-05T00:35:15","slug":"prevention-technologies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.hivlegalnetwork.ca\/site\/our-work\/prevention-technologies\/?lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Prevention Technologies"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"header2\">Overview<\/h2>\n<p>Mass vaccination of populations is one of the most effective ways of fighting infectious disease \u2014 but there is not yet any effective vaccine against HIV.<\/p>\n<p>Developing and distributing globally one or more effective HIV vaccines is crucial to ending the epidemic. Vaccine research and development efforts are only one part of a comprehensive response to the epidemic.
