This Notice of Motion was laid over on May 11, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>You can read more about the background in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/edmonton\/body-rub-centres-covid-19-permanently-close-1.5564036\">this CBC article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The Canadian HIV\/AIDS Legal Network believe that when developing law and policy that directly affects sex workers, it is vital to centre their\u00a0perspectives. Workers in Edmonton are strongly opposed to the closure of their\u00a0workplaces.
