The HIV Legal Network made this submission to the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Committee (“Committee”) in advance of its review of Canada’s periodic report, detailing our concerns about Canada’s implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). This submission provides information on violations of Articles 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, and 26 of the ICCPR with respect to the human rights of people living with HIV, people who use drugs, people without permanent residence or citizenship, and sex workers in Canada.
